Spiritual Consumerism

It’s been a long held belief of mine that there are as many ways back to God as there are people on the planet. Working with soul level energy has only deepened that conviction. Let me tell you, no two souls are alike. And if I knew you in another life, chances are, today, you are not who you were then anymore either. Each lifetime our souls change and grow as we encounter and accomplish new experiences. This is called soul growth. This is why we are here. The physical bodies and experiences we choose are to help our soul accomplish this goal, and then pass away to allow for the next. Our comfort level is an important indicator of being on our own soul path, in alignment with our own soul goals, on our own path back to the Creator.

Humans, by nature, seek out a higher power. We have many religious and spiritual traditions implanted here throughout our history to help lead and guide our souls growth. Pick one ... or two, or none. None of them are perfect. All of them serve a purpose for better and sometimes for worse. Throughout our many lifetimes we have probably tried on more than one for size.

Why do people choose or not choose fundamental religion as a spiritual practice? What happens if you fall out of favor, are shunned or excommunicated? Worse yet, what if your brand of spirituality is considered “new age” or “pagan”?

Whatever brand of religion, spirituality or neither that you choose to live your life by is not really the issue. We get caught up and distracted by the concept of belonging or not belonging, going to Heaven or being condemned not to. The real important thing is how the spiritual practice you choose to live by changes and grows your own Soul. Does it create happiness, abundance, empathy and compassion in you? Does it support a moral code? A positive value system? Do you take responsibility for living it? Does it color your job, your home life, and your friendships like thick golden honey?

The twist is: How do we live it for ourselves and remain free of the judgment of others who choose not to live it, or live in ways we don’t agree with?

The history of the culture of man teaches us that people change their views very slowly. Most people will wait and watch and see if something “works for them” before trying it themselves. People may silently agree with an idea, but not express it if it is not considered ‘mainstream”. Eventually, new ideas grow in collective consciousness to provide a doorway for others to accept them or reject them. As more people accept an idea, it becomes common or mainstream. This is true for spirituality.

I hear the struggle of many of my clients with friends and family members that don’t embrace the advancing spiritual path that they are on. It can lead to dissatisfaction within a marriage, a family, a job, a neighborhood. It is usually based in unrealistic expectations of their reactions to ideas and beliefs that may be contrary to their level of understanding. When we can let that go, we can reach a place of acceptance, for others, and ourselves without a sense of judgment attached at all.

One thing I can tell you for sure, they are watching. They are learning, they are growing. Maybe not at the pace you are, but that is divine timing for their own soul. Each one will choose in the perfect order for their own soul’s growth.

Bring the focus back to you.

1. Clarify your core values and beliefs. Release the restrictive ones to allow room for the expansive.
2. Find joy where you are. If there isn’t joy, something needs to be released so you can course correct.
3. Allow others. Each one must find their own way. If you live with expansion, they can learn from you.
4. Embrace the belief that You Make A Difference. Just by being here. The ground under your feet is sacred because you are standing on it.
5. Count your blessings. Start within and move outward. Start with eyes to see and lungs to breathe. Then look at the depth of the blue sky and feel the life-giving air move in and out of you. You get the idea.

It isn’t enough to just be a spiritual consumer. Think about what you are buying. Choose to live it and grow your soul. Whatever that means for you, make sure the above criteria apply. If we honor each other and ourselves in this way, the pools of collective thought will fill with transforming life-giving energy for all to partake in.

Thank you for your question. In the Soul Perspective Session you receive information about your soul blueprint of origin.

There are two broad categories of souls incarnating on Earth:

• Earther souls, who have soul experience exclusively here. Approx. 90% of the souls here are Earthers.
• Star Travelers, who have experienced some soul incarnations in other star systems prior to arriving here to complete their soul enlightenment. Some star travelers will have a Blueprint of Origin, and an overlay or undertone of additional blueprints. This is because they normally have experience in more than one place, prior to coming here.

Very likely you are a star traveler as you have a love for certain star systems. I find that many who discover their star system of origin for the first time have already had a sense that they were from somewhere else first. And many, like you, have an affinity for a certain set of stars.

Most star travelers have chosen Earth for specific purposes regarding assisting the evolution of the Earther Souls here, and completion of their own enlightenment. The Earth is seen as a jewel in the universe and it is a great privilege and honor to be allowed to incarnate here.
