Language fascinates me. We are so fortunate to be able to communicate in so many ways. The spoken and written word are very powerful. What we think, say and write becomes reality.

My website was recently featured in a journalism study submitted by a college student. I was referred to as a “Grrrl”, a term for “Girls on the Internet connecting with people to create positive change.” It was a compliment, particularly since it was written by a male student.

Here is an excerpt from the study by Andrew N., from ASU: “Grrrl is an adaptation of the word girl. It puts an emphasis on itself by changing the spelling. It takes a word that is commonly used, with common connotations and conceptions, and puts it in a new light. A grrrl is one who uses the web to build feminist networks on the Internet. The term was coined in the mid 90’s. At its heart, it is a strike against the old definition of a girl, not just the spelling. There are lots of derogatory names given to women, which can be used openly by all sorts of people in public or private, because society has been so rooted by a sexist history. Many of the real meanings of these different words are lost now, after years of being exploited. So, with the advent of the Internet, women are finding themselves in need of some reaffirmation of definition and who they are in society, and what they should be called and call themselves. The new spelling also offers an interesting characteristic, that when sounded out phonetically it sounds like a growl. This can be interpreted as a sign of power, and may be a counter offensive to past scorn.”

Shortly after I learned about this study, I was invited to participate in an upcoming event for women healers in Colorado. In the invitation was the term “Wym” , another term meaning powerful women healer. I like it! Language is changing and embracing the energy of receptive healing, traditionally thought of as feminine, as a tool for powerful change on our planet. Just another validation for my belief that this is a good time to be alive, male or female.

My guides have been working with me on Language for a long time. I realize it is time to start sharing some of that wisdom with you. Language will become a feature in this newsletter. I invite you to submit words that you would like spiritual clarification on. My guides often caution me on how we speak and determine the definition of words we commonly use. What we often don’t put much thought to, is that language contains sacred code. As we speak tones and sounds, vibrations, colors and sacred geometric shapes are born and become living thought forms. These thought forms go out from us and affect others. Enough of them together become pools of collective consciousness that shape reality for generations. A simple one has plagued me since I first saw it, and it is repeated over and over and over: “The War On Terrorism”......Hmmm.....who came up with that slogan? Wouldn’t it have been just as easy to say “Action for World Peace”? How might that have shifted the energy and the events of the last few years? If you feel a shift in yourself as you consider it, make it yours. Only as we each embrace Love instead of War will we co-create Peace in the World.

We hear a lot about our “soul contract” these days. We are supposed to know what it is, and accept it to move forward in our spiritual path. But how do we know what it is?

Our soul contract is more like a book with chapters than a single sentence. We define all of it in a broad sense in how we live our lives. Some of our particular soul contract comes into focus as we move out of energetic blocks and restrictions, releasing vows and karma. This is how we become consciously aware of it - as we dust it off, so to speak. It comes into focus with our continued work on our own healing.

For example: I am a healer. This has been my primary focus and soul contract in all my lifetimes. It has manifest in many ways, but always has healing as the primary energy. The many chapters I wrote about how that would manifest before I got here this lifetime are still unfolding, every moment, with each breath I take and each choice I make. So when we “accept” our soul contract, we are really saying, “I am ready to focus on the path I chose. To live it and to work it, instead of ignoring it or fighting it." Then, it comes into focus for you. This is something we do in faith. Knowing that we chose a Divine path for ourselves and having faith that to step up to the plate and embrace it will bring about our enlightenment, even though we can’t fully know what that is. Some of it will be contained in your soul group blueprint, your archangel realm of training, and the houses of God you have studied in, to name a few. That is why soul perspective sessions are such powerful motivators for people on a spiritual path. Answering these questions about ourselves and reconnecting with our Divinity (our connection to God) is an important step in the process. It’s like taking a lens and focusing it. Many new colors, contrasts and depths will begin to get clearer. Your soul contract is inscribed in every aspect of your being. To find it, stay on your healing path and keep asking the question. The answer is within you.

As healers complete the soul practitioner classes offered by The Inner Realm, I will be highlighting them and their practices. We are living in a fantastic time of transformation. The more practitioners we have, the more light we can bring to the world. Thank you to all of my students who so diligently complete their courses with loving intention in the Creator stream.
