Guidance in the 21 st Century: “From Whence Cometh The Answers?”

Life is about seeking truths and looking for answers. Some days, not so much. But in moments of distress or great transition, we can feel lost without any sense of direction. Last week alone I touched upon divorce, heartbreak, relocation, terminal illness and caring for a first newborn baby with my clients and loved ones. All are transitions that can cause us to feel helpless and lost.

In all cases the easiest place to look for our lack of answers is in the failed systems around us. We can blame our parents, society and the medical system for letting us down. Not to mention the political system, the educational system, religion, the media, Internet - the list goes on and on. It’s so convenient, and very predictable. Some feel the world is more messed up today than ever before. A big ship without a rudder. The “end of days” is surely just around the corner. Depressed yet? Well, before I get to the good news, here is another fact to ponder.

The April edition of Science News discusses current methods in use for mind control. In use. Genetic implants placed in the bloodstream that can be controlled by pulses of ultraviolet light and modify sensory responses. Magnetic fields that change currents in brain tissue when magnetic stimulation activates the nerves. An acknowledgement that “brain implants are becoming increasingly more sophisticated”. And of course, subliminal, non-invasive messaging through broadband TV and radio signals. Prolonged use of video games is being linked to male aggression. Hmmm... with all the interference, no wonder we get confused.

Now the good news. There is no one to blame. We are fully empowered. No on has control over you unless you don’t acknowledge it and relinquish your power. The question becomes: What shape is your guidance system in, and where is it? What does it look like and how can you find it? If all of the above is true, how do we know where to go to find our own empowered answers among the barrage of interference?

1. Acknowledge your questions without judgment. We all have them. It’s okay. It makes us human.
2. Go within. Get quiet. You’ve read all the books, you’ve talked to all your friends, you went to church every Sunday. Now... what does your own Soul self tell you? Step out of the interference and into the quiet space that is just You. This will quiet all the mental interference energies and allow your Soul to speak and be heard. (It’s in there, I promise!)
3. Make sure your Soul guidance system is in good shape. To hear from your own higher self there has to be a good connection. This is where the daily exercises of improving your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual connections are so important. I often give homework that I recommend you to do for 20-30 days. The new Words of Power Packages have also been developed to assist in opening and clearing this connection. It’s an on-going process. Get healthy. Someone once said you are the books you read and the people you hang out with. I agree. But more than that, you are all the "input:" through your mouth, your ears, your eyes. What’s going in? Pay attention.
4. Follow your heart-felt thoughts. Resist modeling yourself after anyone else. Your answer will be uniquely right for you, and it may surprise you. Very often it is not what you think it is going to be. Be flexible.
5. Acknowledge the answer without judgment. It will be right for you. Close the circle. Write it down. Say a prayer of thanks for receiving it. Ask for spiritual assistance to support you. Be open to what you will receive by following your own truth.
6. Take action. Have courage. This is your story. Trust yourself.

As your system gets stronger, others will also gravitate toward you that will be like-minded and hearted. Your support system will become clearer and truer for you. We are all here together. Who stands in your circle will be those who are magnetized to you and resonate with you.

The world is no less or better of a place today that it was a million years ago. It is the Soul within us that we need to measure. As we take responsibility for our own Soul growth, we assist others around us and the world around us can become a better place because we are in it. Look to your own Soul for your guidance. Take care of it. Love it. In this way, the learning will occur despite the interference energies around you.

It is my opinion that people look for "God", signs from God, and hope out of a desire to find them. If you look for them everywhere you will find them everywhere. If you wait for a miracle, you may get one or two in a lifetime.

I think it is wonderful that this mark on the wall that looks like the Virgin Mary is inspiring people. People are stopping, thinking about God, feeling hope rise in their hearts, lighting a candle, worshiping under the overpass.

I hope the message of inspiration reminds us all to look daily for messages from God, gives us hope daily and inspires a thought about the miracle of God in every breath we take. Did the markings on the wall come from God?

Everything comes from God. We just miss most of it because we are looking for a sign or a miracle. Is it a miracle? It is to the people who perceive it as one.

Look around you each moment for the blessing of finding “God”, whatever that means to you. Only then can we find our voice, our healing strength, our personal miracles.
